Completed 2012

This project involved the conversion of an existing office and partial warehouse into a flexible open office, filled with natural light. In order to accommodate their operations, the company needed to re-organize their existing space in a more efficient way, improving communication between warehouse and office staff. One of the project’s interesting challenges was to accommodate truck access to the loading docks in a corner piece of property.

Coghlan’s main goal was to build a space capable of reflecting their identity as “outdoor accessory people” – the company specializes in outdoor accessories, researching and testing products before selling them to the general public. The new facility includes not only private and open offices with meeting rooms and a warehouse, but also a state-of-the-art testing lab and a flexible product display area. The testing lab has direct access to an outdoor “camping area” where products are tested year round and used by the staff for summer BBQs, giving the public entering the premises a direct impression of what the business is all about.

This project was undertaken by Cibinel Architects Ltd.
